PANO - Minister of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs Pham Thi Hai Chuyen on July 2nd worked with President cum Director General of the AIA Life Insurance Corporation Mark Edward Tucker.
During the meeting, the director briefed the minister on the AIA’s operation over the past time, and the corporation’s plans to help Vietnamese children in the time to come.
Accordingly, from 2015 to 2017, the AIA will carry out more programs to present lifebuoys to children in flood-hit areas, scholarships, study equipment and bicycles to needy students in provinces and cities across the country, and water filters to households.
It committed to promote dissemination on social networks to call upon businesses to support Vietnamese children in particular, and social welfare in the country in general.
The minister acknowledged the AIA’s active assistance for Vietnamese children over the past time, hoping that the company would have more support programs for Vietnamese children.
