Lao Cai must continue to prioritize the building of a truly clean and strong Party and political system, advance the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, and ensure the mobilization of all available resources to meet growth targets, the Secretariat’s permanent member emphasized.

He went on to say that the focus should be on proposing and implementing unique mechanisms and policies, ensuring synchronized development, fully utilizing the province's potential and advantages, speeding up the progress of key infrastructure projects, particularly those connecting different areas within the province, and bettering national defense, security, and foreign affairs.

Lao Cai should also continue to intensify its implementation of the Party Central Committee’s directives, including those related to streamlining the organizational apparatus and optimizing the organization of the two-tier local administration model, he stated, adding that digital transformation and administrative reforms must be accelerated to improve governance and efficiency.

Tu also emphasized the importance of reviewing, developing, and perfecting regulations on decentralization and delegation of authority to ensure they align with real-world conditions and avoid overlap.
