The delegation also vowed to continue to promote the heroic traditions of Dien Bien Phu, together with the Party, military and people to try to successfully carry out the cause of national industrialization and modernization, and construction.

After that, the delegation visited the command headquarters of the Dien Bien Phu Campaign at the foot of Pu Don mountain, and other relic sites in Dien Bien Phu city.

Earlier the same day, Nguyen Trong Nghia and leaders of Dien Bien province visited and offered gifts to troops of Artillery Brigade 45 of the Artillery Corps, inspected the Dien Bien provincial Guest House - a place to welcome Party and State leaders, international guests and delegates attending the ceremony to the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory.
