PANO – On April 24th, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Committee, the Education and Training Department, the Student Supporting Centre, and the International Training Institute under the University of Economics held the final round of the “Realizing dreams” competition for the academic year 2015-2016.

The competition drew the participation of more than 200,000 high school students from 30 provinces and cities from Da Nang to Ca Mau. The event aimed to help students improve career-oriented abilities, and to help them to map out targets, as well as to nurture their dreams.
In the final round, five outstanding contestants competed in three categories: “Reaching for dreams”, “Living with dreams”, and “Keeping dreams alive”.
Nguyen Thi Xuan Tam from Dong Nai won the first prize worth VND 10 million and the Western Sydney University full scholarship worth US$75.000.
