During its first phase, the project is to install twelve turbines with a combined capacity of 24 megawatts.

Most of the construction and installation process was done by Vietnamese contractors, marking the advanced progress and qualification of Vietnamese engineers, technical officers and workers, said Bui Van Thinh, Chief Executive Officer of Thuan Binh Wind Power JSC.

Upon completion, the plant is scheduled to supply around 200,000 KWh of electricity to the national grid per day.

The facility is the third operational wind power plant in Binh Thuan, together with the ones in Tuy Phong and Phu Quy Districts.
