PANO – “Nguoi la niem tin tat thang” (Nguoi-Uncle Ho is the belief of victory) is the theme of an art exchange programme to be co-hosted by the People’s Army Newspaper, Vietnam Television, Ho Chi Minh Museum and the Capital Media Company.

It is among artistic activities to celebrate the 117th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh and in response to the nationwide movement, “Studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral example”.

3 parts of the programme, namely “Ca cuoc doi vi nuoc vi non” (Whole life for the country), “Chung con mai mai ben nguoi” (We are by your side-Nguoi forever) and “Nguoi la niem tin tat thang” (Nguoi-Uncle Ho is the belief of victory) will be staged with dances performed by Military dancing and singing troupes, the Hoa Mi Children’s Club and songs praising the Party, Uncle Ho sung by People’s Artists Doan Tan, Quang Tho, meritorious artist Thai Bao and singer Lan Anh.

Coming between songs and dances will be documentary extracts on the biography and the revolutionary career of Uncle Ho. An exchange with historical witnesses who used to work for and serve Uncle Ho in different periods will recall many moving and brave memories.

All money raised during the programme will be sent to “Comrades’ Sentimental Attachment” Fund of the People’s Army Newspaper and “Viet Heart” Fund of Vietnam Television to build compassion houses for social beneficiaries with difficulties on the occasion of Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs’ Day on July 27.

The whole programme taking place at the Hanoi Opera House is broadcast live on VTV1 at 8 pm on May 17.
