APPF-26 to be held in 2018
PANO - The organizing panel of the 26th Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF-26) held the first meeting in Hanoi on October 3. Standing Vice-Chairwoman of the Vietnam National Assembly Tong Thi Phong chaired the meeting.
At this meeting, members of the APPF-26 discussed preparations for the forum.

They affirmed the APPF-26 as the first important political and diplomatic activity of the Party and State in 2018 so that all involved organs and agencies should pay due attention to fulfilling all assigned missions.
As scheduled, the APPF-26 will take place from January 18 to 21, 2018.
Founded by former Japanese Prime Minister Yasuhiro Nakasone on March 15, 1993, the forum brings together parliamentarians from across the Asia-Pacific region to directly assist the APEC, contributing to peace, stability and prosperity in the region.
