PANO - Hau Giang’s defensive area exercise concluded successfully on September 15, ensuring absolute safety of personnel, weapons, and equipment. 

This exercise attracted the participation of the whole political system with the armed forces are core participants. In the field content, troops from Commando Battalion, Reconnaissance Battalion, Engineering Brigade 25, and Signal Brigade 29 of Military Region 9 and Regiment 917 of Division 370 under the Air Defense - Air Force Service coordinated to annihilate all targets. The coordination among forces in Hau Giang’s defensive area exercise created an aggregate strength to complete all assigned missions.   

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 9 Senior Colonel Chiem Thong Nhat lauded participating forces for their obtained achievements in the exercise. He highlighted troops’ tactics and their coordination in carrying out contents. 

He said that the exercise contributed to raising cadres, sectors, and people’s awareness of and responsibility for building firm defensive areas.
