She affirmed that Vietnamese people, no matter where they are in the world, always remember the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day, and look towards the land of their origin, where the Hung Kings' Temple in Phu Tho province is located.

As the Vietnamese people will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the reunification of the country later this month, Nguyet took this occasion to express gratitude for the solidarity and support of international friends across the five continents, including the people of Latin American countries, not only during the resistance wars against foreign invaders to gain independence, freedom, and reunification but also in the country’s current international integration and development.

The diplomat also expressed her hope for continued cooperation and valuable support to contribute to strengthening and deepening the traditional friendship and good cooperation between Vietnam and Argentina, Cuba, and other Latin American countries.

At the gathering, the Vietnamese community and delegates enjoyed traditional Vietnamese dishes.
