In response to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee, the campaign, held from October 8 to 20, raised 160 million VND (6,000 USD). Part of the donations was sent through the association's Thai Nguyen and Bac Ninh chapters to support families in those provinces, while the remainder was transferred to the Central Relief Committee of the VFF Central Committee to assist flood-affected residents nationwide.

At a ceremony to receive relief funds for Thai Nguyen province, Luong Thi Hoa, head of the provincial chapter, expressed her deep gratitude for the valuable assistance shown by the Vietnamese community in Macau.

Dinh Thi Bich Ngoc, Vice President of the Vietnamese Association in Macau, said the campaign once again showcased the mutual love and support of Vietnamese people living abroad. She emphasized that wherever they reside, Vietnamese always look toward their homeland and stand ready to support their compatriots at home.

In 2024, following severe damage caused by Typhoon Yagi in northern Vietnam, the association organized a similar initiative, raising 415 million VND (nearly 15,800 USD) to help disaster-hit areas recover from the disaster.
