A delegation from the Vietnamese Association in Russia led by its Deputy Chairman Tran Phu Thuan visited and presented gifts to the pupils at the 282 High School in Moscow on September 2.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by the school and was shown some documentaries on Vietnam’s August Revolution and the declaration of Vietnamese independence by the late president Ho Chi Minh.
The Vietnamese Association then handed over donations totaling 20,000 rubles to help upgrade the school's sports facilities.
Irina Grigoriepna, the school rector, praised the good academic results of the Vietnamese pupils in the school and expressed her gratitude to the Vietnamese embassy and the Vietnamese Association in Russia for their great support.
