The Consulate General of Vietnam in San Francisco has recently held a meeting with overseas Vietnamese businessmen in Oakland, California, the US.
The meeting is one of the regular activities held by the consulate in San Francisco to pass along Vietnam’s socio-economic and cultural situation as well as Party and state guidelines and policies to overseas Vietnamese in the area.
Vietnamese consul general Le Quoc Hung and Vietnamese businessmen in Oakland discussed issues related to Vietnam’s political and socio-economic development, new regulations on visa exemption, citizenship and real estate.
Overseas Vietnamese businessmen in Oakland do business in trade, real estate and services. Many of them have had successful investment projects in Vietnam.
