Son La provincial sapper force handles wartime bomb
PANO - Sappers from the Son La provincial Military Command, together with the Moc Chau district’s Military Command, have safely detonated a 350kg bomb.

Earlier, on May 10, Nguyen Van Bo, a native of Chieng Son commune, Moc Chau district found a metal object suspected of a bomb while constructing his house.
Upon receiving the information, the provincial Military Command sent its sapper force to guard the site.
The object was identified as a 350kg bomb dropped by the French Army during the Vietnamese resistance war against French invaders. It has a diameter of 0.4m and a length of 1 meter
Then, the military engineers teamed up with the Moc Chau district’s Military Command and local authorities to move the bomb to a safe place for detonation.
