Showing deep respect to the fallen soldiers, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thua Thien Hue province Nguyen Van Phuong said that after peace was restored, the whole country in general and Thua Thien Hue in particular have striven to address war legacies and carried out gratitude activities, especially the search, collection, and repatriation of remains of fallen soldiers.
This is an important and urgent mission, demonstrating the current generation’s sentiments, responsibility, and gratitude to those who sacrificed their lives for the revolutionary causes of Vietnam and Laos, the official added.
