Hai Duong armed forces address 350 unexploded ordnance
PANO – Military engineers of the Hai Duong provincial Military Command, from May 10 to 12, together with relevant forces, deactivated unexploded ordnance items on the campus of the Hai Duong provincial People's Council and People's Committee.
Earlier, at 17:30 on May 9, local people found some objects suspected to be bombs while constructing drainage ditches in the area. Right after that, they sent information to relevant organizations.

Therefore, the Hai Duong provincial Military Command directed the city’s Military Command to work with functional forces to blockade the area and mobilize military engineers to the scene.
The objects were identified as war-left cluster bombs with the body diameters of 10-15cm.
To ensure safety for the Hai Duong provincial People's Council and People's Committee and residents, the military engineers expanded their searching area and moved the unexploded ordnance to a safer area for detonation.
