Besides, the unit has organized 14 programs to disseminate law-related information to nearly 5,850 people and 172 vehicles and trawlers; distributed 34,500 leaflets and 3,800 books on law; and presented 353 gifts to needy students and households, and 6,500 national flags to fishermen.

After inspecting the unit, Major General Vu Trung Kien acknowledged and hailed the unit’s achievements over the past time, especially in the fight against drug crimes at sea.

In order to better perform the work in the time ahead, he requested the unit to continue to follow resolutions, directives, and plans of the Party, government, and National Steering Committee 389, and the Vietnam Coast Guard Command in combating all kinds of crime.

Meanwhile, the troops should also grasp the situation to effectively address all cases of law violations, while working with functional forces to share information and fight crimes.
