Women Union chapter of Da Nang City Border Guard give support to adopted children

Following the “Adoptive mother” program launched by the Vietnam Women’s Union Central Committee and the Da Nang City Women’s Union, the Women Union of Da Nang City Border Guard adopted Huynh Thi Thanh Hieu, whose father died of COVID-19. She is currently living with her mother Pham Thi Linh in Thanh Khe Dong ward, Thanh Khe district.

The Women Union of Da Nang City Border Guard hand over VND 1 million and school supplies to Huynh Thi Thanh Hieu.

Apart from the donations of its members, the Women Union of Da Nang City Border Guard also mobilized sponsors to visit and present gifts to share difficulties with the child’s mother. On the occasion of the 2022-2023 school year, the Women Union of Da Nang City Border Guard handed over VND 1 million and school supplies to Huynh Thi Thanh Hieu.

Mrs. Linh expressed her sincere thanks to members of the Women Union of Da Nang City Border Guards, saying that she felt somewhat reassured upon receiving the support and will strive to overcome hardships to raise her child.
