Troubled trawler repaired by naval troops
PANO - The Truong Sa (Spratly) Island Logistics-Technical Service Center under Naval Fleet 129 successfully repaired a trawler numbered NT-90471TS in distress at sea.

At 14:00 on April 1, the trawler with four crew-members, captained by Huynh Van Phong from Tri Hai commune, Ninh Hai district, Ninh Thuan province, encountered heavy rains while conducting fishing activities near the waters of Truong Sa Island (Truong Sa island district, Khanh Hoa). The trawler dropped the anchor; however, it was broken.

Then, the distressed trawler promptly moved to the Truong Sa Island Logistics-Technical Service Center and asked for help.
On April 2, the distressed trawler was repaired and resumed its normal operations.

In March, the center guided 164 fishing boats to anchor at the dock, provided free cubic 80m of fresh water for, presented hundreds of national flags and distributed leaflets to fishermen, among others.
