In a recent field trip, 60 troops, including regular soldiers and militiamen, along with the local Party committee and authorities, carried out the renovation of a 2.5km road and the construction of a 1.2km concrete road in Can 1 hamlet. Also during this field trip, the Hoa Binh provincial Military Command helped needy families clean the environment, repair houses, and encourage them to implement the Party's guidelines and State policies.
According to Senior Colonel Quach Dang Phu, Political Commissar of the Hoa Binh provincial Military Command, local people's life is still hard, with a high rate of impoverished households (some places reaching 30-35%). To help people develop the economy, eradicate poverty and hunger, the provincial military command gave advice to the provincial Party Committee and People's Committee to approve socio-economic development projects in line with maintenance of national defense and security. Then agencies and units under the provincial military command have found creative and effective approaches to helping locals.
Since 2009, the Hoa Binh provincial Military Command has deployed numerous models bringing practical benefits, contributing to reducing difficulties and improving the living quality of local people. In just the past two years, 2022 and 2023, 17 houses and thousands of gift packages have been given to policy families; nearly 1,000 bicycles, health insurance cards, scholarships, and learning equipment have been provided for students. The meaningful actions of the Hoa Binh provincial Military Command’s troops hold significant meaning, contributing to building a strong bond between the military and the people and upholding the spirit of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new era.
