Troops help Nhon Hoi people overcome natural disaster consequences
PANO – On June 5, dozens of troops of the Nhon Hoi Border Post of the An Giang provincial Border Guard Command helped people in the locality to overcome consequences caused by torrential rains and whirlwinds on June 4.
Accordingly, they cleaned up roads, repaired damaged houses, and provided healthcare for local people, helping them resume their normal lives soon.

Earlier, on June 4, torrential rains and whirlwinds blew off the roofs of many houses in Nhon Hoi commune, An Phu district of the Southern province of An Giang. It is estimated that 156 houses have been destroyed or damaged and a large acreage of crops was affected.
Leaders of An Giang province visited and inquired after those badly affected by the torrential rains and whirlwinds and instructed local authorities and agencies to help locals overcome consequences.
