Troops creating anti-burning lanes to prevent the fire from spreading

After receiving the information about the fire breaking out at 2 p.m, 15 troops of the Nhat Le Station raced to the scene to put out the fire.

Despite the hot weather and strong winds, the firefighting forces managed to get the fire under control later in the evening of the day.

It was estimated that 15 hectares of sand-shielding protection and acacia forests were burned out. There was no report on casualty yet.

Last September, fire also burnt down 100 hectares of protection and production forests in this locality.
