Trawler with broken-engine successfully fixed
PANO - The military detachment of the Toc Tan Island's fishing village and technicians of Ship 740, Flotilla 129 of the Saigon Military Port of the Vietnam People's Navy successfully fixed the technical problem with the main engine of trawler numbered PY 92557 TS.
Earlier, at 12:15 July 25, the trawler with five fishermen on board captained by Tran Van Truyen from Ward No.6, Tuy Hoa city, Phu Yen province ran the risk of drifting at sea due to engine failure.

After receiving the information, Ship 740, captained by Lieutenant Do Van Truong, immediately conducted the search and rescue mission, towing the troubled trawler to a safe place for repairs.
During the repairs of the boat, troops of Ship 740 provided first aid, arranged accommodations and gave necessities to the fishermen.
After being fixed, the trawler continued its fishing activities in the traditional fishing ground of Vietnam.
