Chung cakes presented to the staff of Ha Long General Hospital

Troops of the Quang Ninh provincial Military Command made nearly 500 chung cakes and presented to officials, doctors, and COVID-19 patients in quarantine areas of Ha Long General Hospital, provincial Youth Union School, and Industry and Construction College.

The chung cake presentation was part of the program to tighten the military-civilian ties during Tet with the aim of  motivating and bringing Tet atmosphere to COVID-19 front-line forces and COVID-19 patients.

The same day, a mission from the command extended Tet greetings to the party committee, authority, people, and armed forces of Co To district.

People in Chang Riec residential area receive Tet gifts.

Also on January 27, the Tay Ninh provincial Military Command visited and presented Tet gifts to disadvantaged households in Chang Riec residential area in Tan Khai village, Tan Lap commune, Tan Bien district to help them enjoy a cozy Tet celebration.

* The Red Cross Society of Da Nang city handed over scholarships and Tet gifts to 57 local students with adversity in life under the auspices of Swedish organization All for Children.

This annual handover activity of Da Nang city’s Red Cross Society aimed to assist local students to rise in their study and have a happy Tet holiday.

Needy students in Da Nang city granted with scholarships and Tet gifts

* A mission from the Air Defense - Air Force Service inquired after and presented gifts to 800 policy beneficiary, disadvantaged households and heroic Vietnamese mothers in Thua Thien Hue province ahead of Tet.

At the ceremony, the mission thanked the local party committee, authority, organizations and people for creating favorable conditions for the service to conduct mass mobilization work. They wished the recipients a happy and safe Tet holiday.

Chairman of the Nghe An provincial People's Command Nguyen Duc Trung conveys New Year greetings to the provincial Border Guard Command.

* On the afternoon of January 27, a delegation of Nghe An province, led by Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Trung, extended New Year greetings to troops of the provincial Border Guard Command and virtually exchanged with those undertaking duties at COVID-19 checkpoints.

Trung hoped that local border guards will overcome difficulties, continue to work closely with other forces in the locality to prevent illegal cross-border immigration, contributing to maintaining security for locals to enjoy Tet.

A Tet gift package given to village patriarch Kpui Djoat

* The same day, Economic-Defense Regiment 710 of Army Corps 15 presented 98 gifts to village patriarchs, heads of villages, secretaries of party committees of villages in six communes in Chu Prong district, Gia Lai province. The regiment also gave 324 chung cakes and other necessities to local ethnic workers and villagers.

* During the program “Safeguarding the sky in spring - Tet in border areas and on islands” launched by affiliates of Division 363 of the Air Defense - Air Force Service, 18 gifts and 300 chung cakes were presented to policy beneficiaries and disadvantaged households in the areas they are stationed. The activity helped strengthen the solidarity between troops and local people.

Tet greetings extended to heroic Vietnamese mother Nguyen Thi Ba in Dien Trung commune, Dien Chau district, Nghe An province

* Also on January 27, the Party Committee and chain-of-command of the Nghe An provincial Border Guard Command sent a delegation to visit and present Tet gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers that the command is taking care of, during which they wished the mothers health and longevity.
