In her speech, Mrs. Hang said that the foundation, founded 10 years ago, aims to contribute to gratitude, social security, and love-spreading activities. According to her, last year, the foundation in collaboration with the PAN build a school in Dien Bien province, handed over many sanitation facilities, granted scholarships and presented computers to people nationwide. The PAN has become a bridge of compassion between the foundation and people, helping the foundation perform its social responsibility.

At the event, the organizers presented 140 Tet gifts, worth VND 1 million each to the recipients.

Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council of Bang Doan commune Dang Ngoc Thuy informed that with support from organizations, units and benefactors, such as the PAN and the foundation, the locality has eliminated temporary and dilapidated houses, built two houses for local policy beneficiaries.

Holding the gift, veteran Dinh Xuan Luu, aged 80 from village 1, expressed his delight at the present. Despite his wound and travel difficulty, he asked his wife to take him to the event. He said that the small gift carrying the token of gratitude made him touched.
