Soc Trang: Outstanding individuals and reputable people honored

The organizing panel presents gifts to reputable ethnic people and outstanding models in wards 1, 2 and Vinh Phuoc ward in Vinh Chau town.

Outstanding officers, reputable people and outstanding models from ethnic minority groups in the maritime border area of Cu Lao Dung district receive gifts from the organizers.

During the meeting, the border stations presented gifts and honored 33 delegates who were outstanding officers, reputable people, and outstanding ethnic people in the maritime border area of An Thanh 3 and An Thanh Nam communes (Cu Lao Dung district), Trung Binh commune and Tran De townlet (Tran De district), and wards 1,2 and Vinh Phuoc ward (Vinh Chau town).

On the occasion, the delegates shared experience in joining activities to consolidate political bases, promote socio-economic development, and reinforce defense-security in the locality.

Over the past time, the honored individuals have promoted their roles in popularizing and encouraging ethnic people to strictly observe the Party and State’s guidelines, policies and law while actively participating in activities to promote socio-economic development and emulation movements; build great national unity bloc and grassroot-level political systems; preserve and uphold national cultural identities; and maintain defense-security; to name but a few.
