During the program, the delegation, headed by the GDP’s Deputy Chief Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh offered incense and laid wreath at General Vo Nguyen Giap Temple and toured Tran Hung Dao Forest Special National Relic in Tam Kim commune.

Notably, the working delegation provided free health examination and medicine and gifts for policy beneficiaries, poor families, and needy students in the district; handed over Vu A Dinh scholarships to needy students with good academic results and a donation of more than VND 3 billion for the construction of two gratitude houses, two “lightening rural road” projects, and five “VND 100” houses.

This program demonstrated the sentiment and responsibility of youths in the military and in the whole country to the revolutionary land. It also aimed to educate young generation about the tradition of the Vietnam People’s Army and ignite their gratitude to former generations who sacrificed themselves for national independence and freedom.
