The Soc Trang provincial Border Guard Command gives financial support to disadvantaged students in maritime border areas.

During the event, the command provided financial support for 11 Khmer students living in extremely needy conditions. The support was worth around VND 7.3 million per student per year.

The “Paving the way to school for children” project is seen as a bridge tightening the military-civilian solidarity, contributing to building and developing new-style rural areas, and maintaining political security, social order and safety in maritime border areas. It is also an encouragement motivating the students to overcome their difficulties and further study hard.
