Nui Le Island medical staff provide healthcare and gifts to distressed fishermen
PANO – The military medical staff on Nui Le Island (Cornwallis South Reef) in Truong Sa island district, Khanh Hoa province recently provided healthcare for distressed fishermen on board of trawler KG 91408 TS.

Earlier on March 9, trawler KG 91408 TS sank, and all fishermen were saved by their peers on board trawler BD 97551 TS and taken to Nui Le Island.
Having reached the island, all distressed fishermen were provided with health checkup, treatment, and medicine by the medical staff on the island.
Since the fishermen’s health was stable, they were taken ashore by Ship 743 of Flotilla 129 of Saigon Newport Corporation. Before that, troops on Nui Le Island presented clothes, 30kg rice, and other necessities to the fishermen.
As reported, while providing healthcare for fishermen, the military medical staff strictly observed COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control measures.
All fishermen on board trawler KG 91408 TS are from Chau Thanh district, Kien Giang province.
