An art performance during the program

The main event of the program, jointly organized by Tien Phong Newspaper, the National Traffic Safety Committee and the Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, took place on January 21 in Hanoi. The event’s message is “donating blood to save lives- yours- and mine”.

At the event, Deputy-Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh, head of the National Traffic Safety Committee, emphasized that the program has given more hope for thousands of patients nationwide, including those who have been enjoying family reunion especially ahead and during the upcoming Lunar New Year festival (Tet).

The Deputy-PM presented the Prime Minister’s certificate of merit to Tien Phong Newspaper and the program’s organizing panel.

The "Red Sunday" program’s organizer honored and expressed deep gratitude to outstanding groups and individuals who have accompanied the program for ten years now.

Launched in mid-December 2017, the 10th "Red Sunday" program has been carried out in 31 provinces and cities across Vietnam with more than 60 voluntary blood donation places. It will run until the end of this January.
