Naval Region 5 troops extinguish fire at people’s house
PANO – A fire occurred in a motorbike repair shop in An Thoi ward, Phu Quoc city, Kien Giang province on the early morning of October 2.
After receiving the news, the Naval Region 5 Command sent two fire trucks and 30 troops to the scene to collaborate with the local fire prevention and fighting police extinguish the fire.

The firefighting efforts met difficulties because the door was locked and numerous flammable materials were still inside.
Fortunately, after one hour, the forces put the fire under control.
The fire did not cause any casualties but destroyed a lot of properties and goods. The cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by the authority.
