Leaders of Defense-Economic Unit 915 hand over medical equipment to the locality.

The handed-over equipment included 4D color doppler ultrasound scanners, anesthesia machines, portable ventilators, automatic arm blood pressure monitors, phlegm suction machine, 18-parameter hematology analyzer, and so on. The total cost of the medical equipment was VND 5.8 billion.

According to Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Nhan, Commanding Officer of Defense-Economic Unit 915, Long Xuyen Quadrangle is a needy border area with undeveloped infrastructures and shortage of medical equipment. Therefore, the gifts are expected to help the local authorities gradually improve the healthcare quality for locals, contributing to building military-civilian solidarity and firm whole-people defense and security posture.
