Militia force help locals repair houses
PANO - The Military Command of Nam Nung commune, Krong No district, Dak Nong province has sent nearly 30 militiamen to Tan Lap village to support locals to evacuate their property and livestock to a safe place and overcome consequences of recent natural disasters.

Earlier on June 10, heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms blew off and completely ruined 12 houses in Tan Lap village, Nam Nung commune.
Upon receiving the news, despite heavy rain, the commune military command sent troops to the scene to evacuate people, their assets, and domestic animals to a safe area.
In more than one day, the mobilized troops actively gave assistance to the victims, cleaned and repaired their houses.

On June 11, Chairman of the commune’s People’s Committee Pham Van Hai visited the whirlwind-hit families. Eye-witnessing the wholehearted support of the local militiamen, the commune leader acknowledged and spoke highly of the commune’s Military Command’s troops’ high sense of responsibility.
Apart from repairing houses, the local militiamen also helped the victims dry coffee, rice, and tidy up the living environment.
At present, all households return to their home and gradually resume their normal life.
