Gifts presented to flood-hit people in Tuyen Quang through the provincial chapter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front

The delegation, led by Senior Colonel Tran Viet Nang, head of the board, handed over 500 boxes of instant noodles; 700 boxes of milk, purified water and energy drinks; 200 boxes of biscuits and candy; one ton of rice and sugar; 100 life jackets; and VND 10 million to the provincial chapter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Division 316 to later present to local people and the division's troops.

Receiving the gifts, Tang Thi Duong, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial chapter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, said that timely support from people nationwide, including military youths, is a source of encouragement for the provincial ethnic people to overcome the consequences of Typhoon Yagi’s circulation.

Gifts presented to Division 316

According to Senior Colonel Lam Dung Tien, Deputy Political Commissar of Division 316, nearly 2,000 officers and soldiers of the division arrived in the most dangerous and hard places in Northern provinces which were devastated by typhoon Yagi, including Nu village in Phuc Khanh commune, Bao Yen district, Lao Cai province. Troops saved local people, their property, and are joining local efforts in overcoming the storm consequences.

He expressed thanks to the military youths for their gifts which carry comradeship and close-knit ties between troops and people.
