Military University of Culture and Arts launches voluntary blood donation event
PANO – The Military University of Culture and Arts in association with Central Military Hospital 108 launched a voluntary blood donation program on March 4.
The event drew the participation of nearly 300 staff, instructors, employees and cadets to donate their blood.
At the launching ceremony, Senior Colonel Hoang Van Chuc, Deputy Political Commissar of the Military University of Culture and Arts, stressed that the blood donation is a good tradition of the Vietnamese people, which shows noble humanity and is honored by the society.
Over the past years, the blood donation movement has been held regularly by the school’s leadership. Managers, instructors, cadets, and employees of the school have acknowledged the meaning of the voluntary blood donation.
The school does a good job of disseminating information and mobilizing each cadre, instructor, employee, and cadet to participate in the voluntary blood donation. The movement has been developed widely throughout the school, collecting more than 1,900 blood units. Several outstanding collectives are the Faculty of Military Music and the Student Management Section.
