Military Region 5 joins hands to present gifts to Dak Nong educational establishments
PANO - A delegation of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Military Region 5 Command visited and presented gifts to several educational establishments in Quang Son and Dak R’Mang communes of Dak G’long district, Dak Nong province.

The delegation was led by Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son and Commander of Military Region 5 Lieutenant General Thai Dai Ngoc.
The mission presented four TV sets to four schools, namely Hoang Van Thu Secondary School, No Trang Long Primary School, Ly Tu Trong Primary School, and Dak R’Mang Ethnic Boarding Secondary School. As many as 100 bikes were also handed over to needy students of these schools.
The gifts demonstrated the care of the ministry and the Military Region 5 Command for the local education sector and disadvantaged students ahead of the new school year.
Addressing the event, Minister Son said that Dak Nong is home to many ethnic groups. Local people are still living in hard conditions and many students are from poor households. Therefore, paving the way to school for students is the efforts of the students’ families, the care of all-level authorities, and the spirit of overcoming difficulties of the provincial teachers and students.

He suggested the province continue implementing polices on and paying attention to the training. He hoped that teachers will exert utmost efforts, overcome difficulties and challenges, and complete their teaching duties.
On behalf of the Military Region 5 Command, Gen. Ngoc hopes the teachers to promote their responsibility and strive to improve the training quality of Dak Nong province. He emphasized that Military Region 5 will continue giving support to the local education sector and disadvantaged students to help them rise in study and life.
