Military Medical University helps needy households
PANO – The Military Medical University, in coordination with Na Hang district’s People Committee in Tuyen Quang province, on October 29 handed over gratitude houses, worth VND 70 million each, to policy households in the locality.
Representatives from the university presented a house to Ngo Thi Nhu’s family in Yen Thuong village, Thanh Tuong commune, Na Hang district. This is a poor family living in needy conditions.
They also granted another house to fallen soldier Hua Van Khoa’s family from Bac Danh village, Thanh Tuong commune, Na Hang district.

During the handover ceremony, the university also gave electric fans, blankets, and rice cookers to the recipients.
Addressing the event, Senior Colonel Nghiem Duc Thuan, Deputy Political Commissar of the university, said over the past years, the university has provided free checkups and medicines, and built gratitude houses for needy households, contributing to promoting the the Vietnamese tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source,” sharing difficulty with those im need while enhancing military-civilian ties.
Earlier, a delegation of the Military Medical University offered free health checkups and medicines to over 1,000 people in the district.
