At the program, troops and local people had a chance to participate in various meaningful activities such as organizing cultural exchanges, playing folk games, wrapping Chung cakes, and presenting gifts to poor household.

Speaking at the event, Senior Colonel Hoang Xuan Cuong, Political Commissar of the Tay Ninh Provincial Military Command, said that the program aimed to help troops learn more about the guidelines and policies of the Party, the military, as well as about the cultural traditions of people in border areas. This also contributed to promoting the military - civilian ties, in order to encourage troops to fulfill their assigned missions.

On the occasion, the units and localities presented 30 gifts to needy people and the troops stationed in border areas.
