Meaningful activities to mark national special days
PANO - The Ho Chi Minh Museum on August 29 organized a ceremony to receive a number of documents and objects related to President Ho Chi Minh.
The event aimed to honor individuals who donated materials and shared their deep memories of Uncle Ho; and collectives and agencies for their cooperation with the museum in preserving and promoting the legacy of President Ho Chi Minh. From September 2017 to August 2018, the museum collected and received more than 80 photos, documents, art works about President Ho Chi Minh.
* Thai Binh province's Former Youth Volunteers' Association, in association with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, on August 29 held a ceremony to receive the “Hero of the People's Armed Forces” title. During the national liberation war from 1965 to 1975, more than 34,000 young volunteers in the province participated in many fierce battles such as Ga Goi (Nam Dinh province), A2 Bridge (Ninh Binh province), Tao Bridge, Ham Rong Bridge. Their feats of arms contributed to the cause of national liberation and reunification of the country.
* Emulation Group No.4 under the Ministry of Public Security and the Management Board of the Hoa Lo Prison Relic Site on August 29 organized an exchange program themed “A Time to Remember” with the participation of historical witnesses. The program brought audiences back to stories about soldiers across the battlefields in the past time.
* Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee handed over Party membership badges, including two 70-year Party badges, two 60-year Party badges to 280 Party members on the occasion of the National Day (September 2).
* A delegation of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee and related agencies offered incense and laid wreaths to pay tribute to heroic martyrs and late Party General Secretary Le Duan at his monument. On the occasion, Quang Tri province conferred and bestowed posthumously the title “Vietnamese heroic mother" on 103 mothers.
