Meanwhile, a “great unity” house was inaugurated at I Reo village, Hong Thai commune, A Luoi district. The VND 70 million house was built for the family of Mr. Ho Xuan Voi who is currently facing housing difficulties. The construction cost was raised by the provincial Fatherland Front Committee and local authorities.
In addition, troops of the Nham Border Post and Youth Union of Hong Thai commune supported dozens of working days for the construction of the house.
The same day, in Quang Nham commune, the Thua Thien-Hue provincial Border Guard Command and the provincial Fatherland Front Committee offered 100 gifts, worth VND 500,000 each, to needy and policy households in the commune.
Reportedly, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and the Vietnam Border Guard Command selected Thua Thien-Hue as a pilot place to carry out the program. However, due to COVID-19 infections, the program could not be developed as it needed to be.
In addition to the implementation of COVID-19 prevention and control, the Thua Thien-Hue provincial Border Guard Command also implemented many practical programs in celebration of the Entire People's Border Day, contributing to boosting military-civilian ties, firmly protecting national sovereignty and border security in the current context.
