Ho Chi Minh City: Health check-ups and medicines provided for policy beneficiaries
PANO - Military Hospital 175 and other units jointly held a program on February 24 to offer health check-ups and counseling, medicines and present gifts to policy beneficiaries and needy people in Tan Chanh Hiep ward, District 12, Ho Chi Minh City.
It is part of the activities to celebrate the 69th anniversary of the Vietnamese Doctors’ Day (February 27, 1955 - 2024), the 75th foundation day of the defense trade union sector (March 6, 1949 - 2024), and the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (December 22, 1944 - 2024).

During the event, experienced and young doctors of Military Hospital 175 gave medical examinations, including ultrasound and electrocardiogram, and X-ray practices and health counseling to local people.
After a day, the hospital provided free health check-ups and medicines to 270 people. In addition, the organizing panel presented gifts to 200 policy beneficiaries and people with difficult conditions.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Vu Son Giang, Head of the Infectious Diseases Department of Military Hospital 175, the program aimed to encourage the whole young doctors and nurses in the hospital to constantly improve their capability and show their responsibility to the community, contributing to beautifying the image of Uncle Ho's medical soldiers and building a stronger hospital, meeting requirements of taking care of the people and troops’ health.
