General Phan Van Giang commemorates President Ho Chi Minh and heroic martyrs
PANO - On March 18, General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Vice Secretary of the Central Military Commission, and Minister of National Defense, offered flowers and incense to heroic martyrs at the Victory Monument, President Ho Chi Minh at his memorial house at the headquarters of the Military Region 9 Command.
Other members of the inspection team No.1924 of the Politburo and the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee also attended the offering ceremony.
The event also saw the presence of Chief of Military Region 9 (MR9) Command Lt. Gen. Nguyen Xuan Dat, MR9’s Political Commissar Maj. Gen. Ho Van Thai, and leaders from Tien Giang and Bac Lieu provincial Party and people’s committees.
In a sacred atmosphere, the team expressed their deep respect for and gratitude to the heroic martyrs and President Ho Chi Minh. They promised to continue studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality, and style, stand united, stay absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland, and the people. They also vowed to excellently complete all assigned missions, contributing to the country’s prosperity, power, and wealth.
