In 2023, the party committees, chains-of-command of these agencies and units always embraced higher level’s resolutions and directives. They stayed united, creative, promoted collective intelligence, comprehensively carried out solutions, successfully completed all assigned tasks.

The agencies and units have well developed combat readiness plans and ensured that their personnel will have a cozy, economical and safe lunar New Year (Tet) holiday.

Gen. Quyet expressed his delight at the achievements gained by the agencies and units last year. Given that this year will see many big events of the country and military and is an important year to victoriously realize resolutions of the 13th Central Party Congress and all-level party congresses, the GDP deputy chief asked agencies and units to continue to promote their attainments, show high resolve, promote collective strength, improve quality of major political mission implementation.

He hailed them for actively and pro-actively preparing Tet celebrations for troops and requested them to complete plans, observe combat readiness regulations, fire prevention and ensure traffic safety. They should also pay due attention to the life of their personnel, policy beneficiaries and organize gratitude activities.

On the occasion, Gen. Quyet presented Tet gifts from the GDP to the agencies and units and wished them good health, solidarity, unity, and fulfillment of all missions assigned by the Party, State, and military.

The same day, Gen. Quyet visited and extended Tet greetings to former GDP deputy chiefs Sr. Lt. Gen. Phuong Minh Hoa, Lt. Gen. Nguyen Tuan Dung, during which he wished the two generals good health, and precious contributions to military building.

Also on January 22, GDP Deputy Director Lt. Gen. Nguyen Van Gau paid pre-Tet visits to the Military Magazine of Art and Letters, the People’s Army Publishing House, the Military Library, and the Vietnam Military History Museum.

After hearing agencies and units’ reports on their task performance in 2023 and mission orientations for 2024, as well as their combat readiness and duty work during the upcoming lunar New Year, Gen. Gau applauded their outcomes and asked them to overcome difficulties and strive to complete assignments since the first days of the year.

Sending Tet wishes to them, Gen. Gau asked the agencies and units to maintain combat readiness duties, ensure safety for troops and barracks, prevent fire before, during and after Tet and practically realize policies for troops and their families.

The same day, a delegation from the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and the GDP, led by GDP Deputy Chief Lt. Gen. Le Quang Minh paid inspecting visits and extended Tet wishes to Regiment 143 of Division 315, the Quang Nam provincial Military Command, the Quang Nam provincial Border Guard Command, Center 386 under Command 86, and Security Unit 3 under the Department of Military Internal Security Protection.

Gen. Minh hailed these agencies and units for their accomplishments in 2023, pro-active preparations for Tet celebrations in 2024, and their close coordination with local party committees and authorities to grasp situations, manage localities, and safeguard national border.

Gen. Minh requested the agencies and units to enhance education for officers and troops, observe military discipline, build politically-strong agencies and units and actively make preparations for receiving new recruits and launching training sessions for 2024.

On the occasion of the upcoming lunar New Year 2024, Gen. Minh wished the agencies and units a happy New Year and presented Tet gifts to them.
