Distressed people saved in Dong Nai River
PANO – The Border Station at the Nha Rong Port Gate, under the Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard Command, on May 3 successfully rescued two distressed people in the Dong Nai River.
Earlier on the same day, an unnumbered boat, captained by Dao Minh Duong (born in 1986), with two locals Bui Ngoc Phuong (1981) and Cao Minh Nhan (1971), all from Long Dien street, Long Binh ward, Bien Hoa city, sank in the river in District 9 due to high waves.

Checkpoint No. 4 of the Border Station at the Nha Rong Port Gate detected the troubled boat while patrolling along the river.
The unit then quickly rushed to the scene and saved the two distressed victims Dao Minh Duong and Cao Minh Nhan.
Troops from the checkpoint of the Border Post at the Nha Rong Port took the two men ashore. They also sent two canoes with six troops to search for missing Bui Ngoc Phuong.
