Dak Lak border guards support construction of wells for border people
PANO - Ea H’Leo Border Station under the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command, in collaboration with the local authorities, held a ceremony on May 22 to start the construction of a well for people in Dung Nhap village, Ia Lop commune, Ea Sup district, Dak Lak province.
The project, worth VND 50 million, includes a well, a water pump and a system of water tanks. The construction is sponsored by the Women's Union chapter of Buon Ma Thuot city and benefactors in Ho Chi Minh City.

According to Senior Captain Nguyen Phi Lanh from Ea H’leo Border Station, since the beginning of this year, Dak Lak border guards have started the construction of four wells for people in border areas. During the dry season, households in Dung Nhap village usually suffer from water scarcity. Knowing about the situation, local authorities, border guards, and Defense-Economic Unit 737 have taken many measures and mobilized troops and vehicles to transport clean water to the drought-hit families.

Earlier, Dak Lak’s border guard force supported the construction of three drilled wells for people in Ea Bung and Ia Rve communes, Ea Sup district.
