Implementing the GDLT’ 2025 program to support the construction of “Trade Union, Comradeship” houses, Joint Stock Company 22 reviewed eligible cases and selected Hoang Thi Theu, who has worked at the unit for 18 years, for the second phase of support.
Theu faces difficult circumstances. Her husband works freelance with an unstable income, her two children are still at school, and the family lives with her mother-in-law in a downgraded small apartment.

With VND 80-million support from the program, together with assistance from relatives, friends, and her unit, the new house was completed after five months of construction, ensuring quality and safety.
Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Tuan congratulated Theu’s family on their spacious new house. He affirmed that caring for the material and spiritual lives of officers, employees, and workers has always been paid close attention to and carried out through practical activities by leaders of the GDLT and the Department of Political Affairs. With the motto “Wherever there are difficulties, the trade union is there,” the program helps ease workers’ hardships, stabilize their lives, and feel secure and attached to their units.

Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Tuan expressed his hope that comrade Theu’s family would continue overcoming difficulties and building a happy family. He also hoped that the noble deed would motivate her to keep striving and successfully fulfill her assigned tasks.
On this occasion, the GDLT, Joint Stock Company 22, and Enterprise 24 presented many gifts to comrade Theu’s family, reflecting their care and sharing for disadvantaged workers.
