CMC, MND conduct gratitude activities in Binh Duong
PANO - A delegation of the Central Military Commission and Ministry of National Defense, led by Deputy Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son, offered incense and flowers in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at the Binh Duong provincial War Cemetery on December 17.
In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation, together with officers and soldiers of Binh Duong province’s armed forces and local youth, offered flowers and incense to pay tribute to fallen soldiers at the provincial War Cemetery.

* On the same day, the delegation visited and presented gifts to heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Dinh, born in 1925 in Lai Thieu ward, Thuan An city, Binh Duong province and Senior Colonel and Hero of the People’s Armed Forces Doan Van Thai, former Commanding officer of the Binh Phuoc provincial Border Guard Command in Binh Nham ward, Thuan An city.

On behalf of the CMC and MND, Lt. Gen. Pham Truong Son expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation for Mother Nguyen Thi Dinh's great contribution to the revolution, national independence and reunification, wishing her happiness and good health, as well as to remain a bright example for younger generations.
Gen. Son also required local authorities and the province’s armed forces to continue to conduct gratitude activities to take care of policy beneficiaries and national contributors.
