From September 18 to 20, the delegation visited Khemmara Rangsey Pagoda in Tan Hoa commune, Som Rong Pagoda in Soc Trang ward, and Tum Nup Pagoda in An Ninh commune.

At each stop, representatives of the delegation warmly inquired after the monks and Buddhist followers. They also conveyed best wishes to the Khmer community for celebrating their traditional festival in a peaceful, joyful, and united atmosphere.

During the meeting at Khemmara Rangsey Pagoda, Venerable Kim Van Sanh expressed his delight and appreciation for the attention and support of local authorities and the armed forces. He emphasized that such care is a great source of encouragement, strengthening the community’s confidence to continue implementing the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws, and to join hands in building a prosperous and developed homeland.

On this occasion, the delegation presented gifts to the pagodas and Khmer Buddhist followers, reflecting the deep sense of solidarity and close bond between the armed forces and ethnic minority communities.

These activities further reinforce the unity between the military and the people, contributing to the strengthening of the great national unity bloc in Can Tho city.
