Border troops save troubled fisherman
PANO – A troubled fisherman was saved by troops of Cua Dai Border Station, said Lt. Col. Nguyen Hoang, Commander of the unit, on February 11.
Previously, at 7:45 p.m. on February 10, Nguyen Phan, a fisherman of Fishing Ship QNa 02520 captained by Dang Em from Cam Thanh ward, Hoi An town, Quang Nam province, suffered a stroke and fell unconscious when the fishing ship was about three nautical miles from the mainland.

Upon receiving the news, Cua Dai Border Station immediately sent a motorboat with six troops and military medical personnel on board to the scene. After reaching the ship, the military medical personnel provided first aid for him and transported the victim to the motorboat to take him ashore for further treatment.
At 9:00 p.m. the same day, troops of the border station took the troubled fisherman to Thai Binh Duong Hoi An Hospital for emergency. The victim has come out of the critical coma.
