As planned, the Youth Union organizations and their members will plant at least 2,000 trees, team with local authorities to develop local socio-economy, build new-style rural areas, and carry out social security models and programs as well as ensure defense security in border areas.
At the launch of the program, the An Giang provincial Border Guard Command presented gifts to 11 students of the “Paving the way to school for children - Border posts’ adopted children” program in Tinh Bien township.
After the kick-starting ceremony, participating cadres, Youth Union members and youths cleaned up local environment and planted trees along rural roads in the locality where the unit is stationed.

Also on June 1, Vinh Quang Border Post under Hai Phong city's Border Guard Command, in collaboration with Tien Lang district's Youth Union organization launched campaigns, including “Summer youth volunteers,” “Military youths and traffic culture,” and “Clean the sea.” These were activities in response to the festive day entitled “Sentiments for sea, islands and border” 2024 of the youths of the city's Border Guard Command.
More than 100 cadres, Youth Union members and youths of participating units, cleaned 2km of coastline, collected four tons of different kinds of waste, making the environment in Hai Phong city green, clean, and beautiful.

At the event, the Youth Union Organization of the command handed over 15 gifts, worth VND 500,000 each, to students of the “Paving the way to school for children - Border posts’ adopted children” program and disadvantaged children in Tien Lang district’s sea border areas.
These activities helped promote youthfulness, pioneering spirit and enthusiasm of cadres, Youth Union members, and youths of Hai Phong municipal Border Guard Command to contribute to local socio-economic development and for the life of local community.
