Border guard saves distressed fishermen at sea
PANO – The Khanh Tien Border Post of the Ca Mau provincial Border Guard has successfully rescued four distressed fishermen at sea and took them ashore safely.
Earlier, at 12:15 on Sept. 3, trawler CM 0098 TS with four members aboard, captained by Nguyen Van Tron, born in 1979 in Khanh Tien commune, U Minh district, Ca Mau province, sank due to high waves and strong winds while fishing at sea two nautical miles off Huong Mai seaport.

After receiving the information, the unit sent a patrol boat with six troops, mobilized two additional trawlers and called on people fishing near the scene to take part in the rescue mission.
At 13:00 the same day, the distressed fishermen were safely taken ashore.
Currently, the Khanh Tien Border Post is still taking care of the fishermen.
